Fall’s Call to Nourish Your Inner Artemis

There’s something magical about the way fall paints the world in hues of amber, crimson, and gold. The very essence of the year shifts as it moves from growth and harvest into a spectacular conclusion, whispering secrets of ancient wisdom to those who care to listen.

For Regent women, fall holds a special allure, drawing us away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and into the arms of nature. It’s here, amidst the rustling leaves and the intoxicating scent of damp soil, that we find an invitation to restore our Wild Woman within.

The winds of autumn recreate the eternal dance of change, leaves twirling and spinning, showing us how easy and natural it is to let go of what no longer serves. This is the time to lay to rest the plans, dreams, and projects that didn’t come to fruition, and prepare for a fallow time of rest and reconsideration.

In the heart of the wilderness, we encounter the Artemis Archetype, a facet of ourselves that belongs solely to the wild. Artemis, the Greek goddess of the hunt, wilderness, and wild animals, embodies independence, strength, and untamed beauty. She is fierce and nurturing, a protector of nature and all its inhabitants. As we wander the forest paths, we embody her spirit, embracing our own autonomy and reveling in the primal energy that nourishes our souls.

Fall is crisp and spectacular; It’s the perfect time to reconnect to your inner Artemis. She is a powerful archetype. She belongs to only herself; She serves herself and those who inhabit the wilderness with her. She is the untamed power of nature, red in tooth and claw, evident in the cycles and the processes of birth, growth, death, and rebirth.

May the beauty and power of the season do much to refill your well, knowing that after a rest and a season, spring and Persephone will return.

Namasté,

Dr. A.
