Howling at the Wolf Moon, Reclaiming Our Inner Wild Woman
If you purchase a ticket from this page, you will be purchasing access to a VIDEO of the lecture from the gathering, avaiable the day after. A link will be emailed to you on the 29th of January.
This gathering will feature an exploration of the Goddess Artemis, and the wild woman archetype. Who is this wild woman? How can we tap into the wild and the instinctual within us? Why should we? How can we get access to our untamed nature that is craving for wilderness? Our relationship with the wild feminine offers a deep connection through psyche to the creative, to deep inner knowing, to our inner visionary and to our essential self.
Through folktales and myth we’ll share in the reclaiming of the one—in—herself archetypal feminine. She is the wolf woman, the wild nature within, who runs through the forests with her pack, who’s endurance and strength come from ancient forces, not constrained by cultural limitation, sanitation, and demonization.
Though we made it through the past few months and there is new hope on the horizon, we are in the long dark winter of our discontent. The pandemic is still raging, and though predictions are hopeful, we should not look for the return of a new normal before fall.
We can face the relentless restlessness, frustration, fear, grief, and paralysis that threaten our daily lives by acknowledging our inner wild woman and welcoming her into our daily throughs and practices. If we can reinvigorate her within, we can keep our inner fire crackling even during the darkest times.
Join me on January 28th, the night of the Full Wolf Moon, to reclaim your wild woman!
The 2021 Village is here! This year each monthly gathering will explore a different goddess from world mythology. Together we’ll discover how these ancient mythologies offer new perspectives on issues that concern Regent women today. As Regent Women—aged 45-70— we’re living in the most powerful stage of our lives. In these gatherings, the company of women, we support each other and offer insights into making the most of our Regent years.
What can we learn from the time we are living through? Where is our power, and how should we wield it? Join me to explore the ancient hopeful truths and power that lives within the myths of the universal experience of being a woman.
Dr. A. is a cultural mythologist and women's coach. Join her in weekly inspirational conversations, held online, about the big picture of being a woman in these times.
In each conversation, as women have done for millennia, we will gather at the well (ours will be virtual) to support each other and to find wisdom, insight, and clarity in uncertain times.
Enter the circle and:
- Experience new ways of understanding what we are going through today, from the wisdom in ancient myths and stories.
- Explore the legacy of wisdom from the profound universal experiences of being women.
- Broaden and deepen our thinking about our outer and inner worlds.
- Create a deeper connection to ourselves and to each other.
These weeks of social distancing and unrest can create more than stress and worry. We can emerge from this uncertain time with a story to tell about ourselves and our world. We can create a new vision for our lives, our families, our communities, and our world.
