Celebrating the Great Goddess on Earth Day!
This month in the Village, we’re going to be celebrating The Great Goddess. What day could be better for that than Earth Day!
Mother nature has been talking to us this year as we try to subdue a pandemic and address systemic injustice, cultural imbalance, and climate change. The warming atmosphere is transforming our planet's weather and ecosystems while threatening one million species with extinction. Naturalists, eco psychologists, scientists, artists, and world leaders call us all to be better stewards of our miraculous Blue Planet.
Nature has always been associated with the feminine. Mother Earth and Mother Nature are accepted idioms that link the natural world and women to the natural rhythms of birth, growth, death, and rebirth.
