The Liberating Power of Inanna

An invitation to encounter the liberating power of the Goddess Inanna—and rediscover the sovereign woman within.

What might the ancient myths of the Goddess Inanna teach us about reclaiming our feminine power?

And how might they help us recognize and shed the patriarchal conditioning that has shaped our understanding of ourselves as women?

In this two-hour class, we’ll explore the extraordinary mythology of the Sumerian Goddess Inanna as a sacred map for feminine liberation, empowerment, and embodied sovereignty.

Through several of Inanna’s ancient myths, we’ll discover how this powerful goddess challenges conventional expectations of femininity and offers us new ways of understanding our own power, autonomy, and wholeness.

Our journey will culminate in the Descent of Inanna, one of the world’s oldest surviving mythological narratives of descent and return.
